Tamron SP AF 20-40mm f/2.7-3.5 Aspherical (IF)

(6 customer reviews)

This camera glass has a good build quality and is made with high-quality lens elements that reduce aberrations and increase sharpness. The lens coating helps to reduce flare and ghosting, ensuring good contrast and color accuracy. The autofocus system is fast and accurate, but it also has a manual focus option for more control. The aperture ranges from f/2.7 to f/3.5, providing good low-light performance and depth of field control. This photographic lens has a good resolution, producing sharp and detailed images. It is a good alternative to other prime zoom lenses in the market, such as the Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L II USM or the Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 24-70mm f/2.8E ED VR. The Tamron SP AF 20-40mm f/2.7-3.5 Aspherical (IF) lens was manufactured some years ago, but it is still a good option for photographers who want a versatile and high-quality lens for their full-frame camera. The bokeh, or the quality of the out-of-focus areas, is good, producing smooth and creamy backgrounds.

affordable and promising lens! for ones who require reliable outdoor lens excellent build and image quality.
focusing is noisy, but not relevant for shooting landscape.
the only problem is the coating and the lens flare.
my copy offers an orange flare that is great for video work; photowise, try to avoid direct light or direct sunlight.

check for back focusing issue, although mine is okay.
