Tamron AF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 LD Macro 672D

(7 customer reviews)

This camera glass is a good alternative to expensive lenses for photographers on a budget. It has a focus range of 75-300mm, making it suitable for distant subjects. The bokeh, or the quality of the out-of-focus areas, is decent enough for portraits. It can be used with both autofocus and manual focus, giving photographers more control over their shots. The lens is made up of 13 glass elements, which are coated to reduce glare and improve image quality. The manufacturing time is not specified. The aperture can be adjusted between f/4 and f/5.6, which is decent for a lens in this price range. The build quality is average, but it should last for a few years with proper care. The resolution is decent enough for most purposes, but it may not be suitable for professional-level work. Overall, this photographic lens is a good option for photographers who need a telephoto lens for occasional use.

of the Tamron AF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 LD Macro 672D camera lens:

Positives:
As an enthusiast photographer, I was impressed with the quality of this lens for its price range. The image sharpness and clarity are great, especially at the lower end of the focal range. The macro capabilities are also a plus, allowing for close-up shots with good detail. The lens is also lightweight, making it easy to handle for extended periods, and the autofocus is quick and accurate.

Negatives:
While the lens performs well at lower focal lengths, there is some noticeable drop-off in image quality towards the higher end of the zoom range. The lens is also a bit noisy when focusing, which may be a concern for some photographers. Additionally, the build quality feels a bit cheap, which could be a concern for those who are rough on their equipment.

Conclusion:
Overall, the Tamron AF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 LD Macro 672D is a great lens for the budget-conscious photographer looking to expand their focal range. While there are some flaws, they are easily outweighed by the lens’s strong performance and affordability. I would recommend this lens to anyone looking for a versatile telephoto lens at a great price.

Tamron Lens The lens was new…as stated. I was immediately pleased with my first picture. Although I do have to manual focus with my camera, that is not a drawback for me. I do shoot in the manual mode 95% of the time. I do find my images sharp and crisp, the colors of my images are great. I will make this my primary lens.

Tamron 75-300mm review I was a little disappointed with the lack of sharpness, especially in low light. All in all its a decent lens , giving me that extra bit of zoom that I need for wild life shots. I do find in contrasty situations it’s prone to bad purple fringing, easily removed in lightroom though.

Excellent Value Tamron has made many lens over the years and has proven to be a company that makes products that offer quality and durability. This lens is a good example. I bought it used and so it has experienced more than I could give it. It works smoothly and takes a sharp picture. It works well on automatic or manual, and for the pictures I take, it is indistinguishable between pictures taken with this or the Nikon lens I own. Buying used made it an excellent value but it is a good buy new and a fine lens for a telephoto zoom.

Love IT Came 4 days earlier than the marked ship date. Great lens for the price you pay. Came in brand new as promised! Only problem is there is no Autofocus as stated in the title which doesn’t hinder pictures in any way

Great lens for the money! Bought this lens for my wife’s Nikon D200. Yeah! I know! She wanted a longet lens and she doesn’t use her Nikon enough to spend money on a quality Nikon lens. She uses her Nikon allot now and loves the new Tamron Lens. Very clear and light! And…you can’t beat the cost!
