The lens coating helps to reduce flare and ghosting in the images. The lens has a manual focus option as well. It has a good resolution and provides sharp images. Fat boy Tried a few images, I like colours, fits D700 fine.
    I guess it`s better, than 25-50 Nikon.
Do not see crisp background, blocks of nearby home are flared. I hope better pictures soon coming….
    Overall it`s O`k !

affordable and promising lens! for ones who require reliable outdoor lens excellent build and image quality.
focusing is noisy, but not relevant for shooting landscape.
the only problem is the coating and the lens flare.
my copy offers an orange flare that is great for video work; photowise, try to avoid direct light or direct sunlight.

check for back focusing issue, although mine is okay.
