(7 customer reviews)

Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 Di III RXD A036 is a camera glass that offers alternatives to other expensive photo lenses. It has an autofocus function and can also be used manually. The lens has 15 lens elements that are coated to reduce glare and ghosting. The manufacturing process of the lens takes time to ensure its quality. The aperture of the lens is f/2.8, which allows for a shallow depth of field and good bokeh. The build quality of the lens is good and it is durable. The lens provides high resolution and sharpness in photos.

Positives: The Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 Di III RXD A036 camera lens is a great value for the money. The image quality is amazing and the f/2.8 aperture is a great feature to have. The lens is well-built and feels solid in the hand. I appreciate the focus ring being manual, which gives me more control over the focus. The lens also focuses quickly and quietly thanks to the RXD autofocus motor.

Negatives: Although the lens is well-built, it is not weather-sealed, so it may not be suitable for shooting in inclement weather. Also, the lens is quite heavy compared to other lenses in its class, which may be a concern for some photographers who prefer lighter gear.

Conclusion: Overall, I am very satisfied with the Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 Di III RXD A036 camera lens. It offers great value for its price and the image quality is excellent. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a versatile and reliable lens, especially for those who shoot with Sony mirrorless cameras.

I love the lens This is a really good lens for the price. It fits my Sony A7iii perfectly because of the size. Though it a bit long, it’s narrow circumference makes it a perfect fit for the Sony mirrorless camera. I took a couple of shots and I like the bokeh and the sharpness of the lens.

I mainly do videos. I used it for a wedding this weekend and when I reviewed the 4K videos, I could see so much details even the very tiny details in the make-up.
Occasionally it’s a bit slow in grabbing focus but it eventually gets it; I probably need to adjust the focus speed in the camera. I believe you will love the lens.

Average performance compared to primes Obviously primes are going to perform better, but I was a little suprised by the lack of image sharpness. Going to stick to prine lenses until I find a zoom lens with comparable sharpness(that I can afford)

Otherwise the lens had a good quality feel to it and if sharpness isnt super important to you, you’ll probably be really happy with this.

I use a sony a7iii, ant I didnt have any problems with any type of autofocus. I didn’t use it for video.

Great for the price with some limitations. This lens is surprisingly sharp even on my a7rIII. The focus can hunt every now and then in lower light situations but is fairly decent. I was wondering if I would miss the extra 24mm of focal length and I definitely wish I had it in certain situations. The trade off is the weight, which is insanely light for a constant f2.8 lens; you get lots of Toneh at 75mm wide open.

Great Versatile Lens I just switched from Canon to Sony and wanted an easy, versatile lens. I debated between the 24-70 and this one, and I’m very happy with the 28-75. It is more inexpensive but the quality is still sharp. It’s very light and a constant grab for me! I mainly use it for landscape and photos of my dog (@whereskaia for more of it), and love how quick it focuses and creates a nice depth of field.

Great Value! Coming from a micro 4/3s camera, this along with the Sony a7ii are huge! But the image quality is amazing and I’m pretty sure this is best value I’m getting for the money, the f/2.8 is lovely to have 🙂 Plus! If I want to sell this at any point the price won’t go down much, so it’s a great investment!
