Soligor 200mm f/4 Auto

(2 customer reviews)

This camera glass creates a nice blurred background effect, also known as bokeh. It has a fixed aperture of f/4, which means that it does not change when zooming in or out. The photo lens has multiple glass elements, which helps to reduce distortion and improve image quality. The lens coating helps to reduce glare and improve contrast. The build quality is solid and durable, making it a reliable choice for photographers. The resolution is good, producing sharp and clear images. There are alternative options available for this type of photographic lens, but Soligor is a good choice for those who prefer manual focus and want a lens that can create a nice bokeh effect. It was manufactured in the past and may not be available new anymore, but it can still be found used.

Sure, here is the revised review with additional sections:

Positives:
The Soligor 200mm f/4 Auto camera lens works great with the ML-1 flash set. It is sharp and cheap, making it an excellent budget option for those looking for a macro zoom companion lens. The lens I received was in excellent condition, despite being almost 40 years old.

Negatives:
The lens isn’t very fast, so it may not be suitable for low light conditions without additional lighting. Additionally, it lacks image stabilization, so it may be challenging to obtain sharp images handheld.

Conclusion:
The Soligor 200mm f/4 Auto camera lens is an excellent option for those looking for a budget macro zoom companion for their ML-1 flash set. It is sharp, lightweight, and easy to use. However, its lack of speed and image stabilization may limit its use in low light conditions. Overall, I would recommend this lens to anyone looking for a budget-friendly option for their macro photography needs.

Works great with ML-1, sharp and cheap! I bought this lens as a companion for my Canon ML-1 flash set. Works as expected. Lens isn’t too fast but doesn’t need to be when used with the ML-1. The lens I bought seems practically new considering it is nearly 40 years old. I also have the 80-200 f/4 L which is a sharp lens. If your in the market for a a macro zoom companion for your ml-1 then this is a good lens to have.
