(5 customer reviews)

Sigma DC 18-125mm f/3.8-5.6 OS HSM is a versatile camera glass that can cover a wide range of focal lengths. It has a good build quality and is suitable for general photography. The lens has a variable aperture, which means the maximum aperture changes as you zoom in or out. It has a decent autofocus system that can focus quickly and silently. The lens has multiple lens elements that are coated to reduce glare and improve image quality. It has a good resolution that can capture sharp images. The lens provides a decent bokeh effect that can help separate the subject from the background. The manufacturing time for the lens is not known. There are alternative lenses available in the market that offer similar or better features. The lens is suitable for photographers who want a single lens that can cover a wide range of focal lengths.

Positives:
This lens is incredible for the price. I’ve been using it for about a year now and it has exceeded my expectations. The zoom range is perfect for travel photography and allows me to capture a variety of shots without constantly changing lenses. The image stabilization works very well and helps to get crisp, clear shots even in low light situations. The lens build quality is fantastic and it feels very sturdy in hand.

Negatives:
The autofocus motor can be a bit slow at times, especially when trying to focus on moving subjects. However, this is not a major problem and can be solved by manually focusing the lens. Additionally, the distortion at the wide end is slightly noticeable, but can be easily fixed in post-processing software.

Conclusion:
Overall, I highly recommend the Sigma DC 18-125mm f/3.8-5.6 OS HSM camera lens for anyone who wants a versatile, mid-range zoom lens. The price is very reasonable and the build quality and image quality are both top-notch. While there are some minor drawbacks, they are far outweighed by the positives. If you’re looking for an affordable, high-quality lens that can handle a wide range of photography situations, this is the one to get.

lousy -lens not worth money too heavy–lens not sharp, when lift camera over you and lens is all out then lens fall down-manual focus is horrible–i made mistake–It’s not good lens at all

Ok lens Nice lens for the price used, I would not buy new as you can get better used lens in that price range. Auto focus is bit noisy but for the price used, can’t complain!

Well worth it. This was just what I was hoping for. I had read pros and cons from others, but I read a review from a canon user mag that rated it a best buy for mid range zooms. I am very pleased with the performance so far. The motor for the auto focus sometimes is busy, but it is not a deal breaker. The lens gives a good end product, and the price is right. I would recommend it to a friend.
