Good value but not good image quality I own and have owned several great Sigma lenses over the years but this is not one of them. For any serious photographer this not the lens for you. Image quality suffers throughout all focal lengths. The 135mm length is really the only sweet spot on this lens and it is not great. There are better lens out there in this focal length range.

Good choice if you are on a budget. A solid, affordable lens; great for traveling when you don’t want to lug a lot of glass. I have used it fairly extensively since I bought it, and I am generally pleased with the results. Low light performance could be better, but for the prices can’t really complain.
