Sigma 28-300mm f/3.5-6.3 for Nikon This lens was made for both Nikon/Canon cameras (& others). The reason I bought it was to replace a similar model which a “ham-fistd” cousin thinking it was STUCK, twisted the focusing ring thinking it was the zoom AND promptly broke it. It still automacally focuses. On eBay I purchased another under $100 which seemed to snap into focus much quicker!!! This has been a workhorse and at that price is a real bargain on my Nikon D70 & D90. Anyone on a budget or JUST STARTING would be smart to buy this lens if they couldn’t afford a newer higher-priced model.

an all around good lens this lens is just an all around good lens the focus is a little slow but takes great pics and stay on my camera (sony a380) about 90% of the time great for portaits and general shooting i would not recomend this for sports. How ever with my 2.0 teleconverter it will shoot a f64 SOOOOO nice for landscape i would recomend this lens for anyone wanting just an all around general pupose lens.

Sigma Zoom Wide Angle-Telephoto 28-300mm I bought the Sigma Zoom lens 28-300mm, and immediately was impressed with the photos I could take from a far without disturbing nature, which it’s the reason why I bought it. I am not a professional by any means, but I would recommend this lens to any one still interested in film taking pictures. It’s not noisy at all and allows you to take great pictures. It was immediately delivered upon payment, looking forward to do business again.

Excellent lens for the outdoors The lens covers so much from wide angle out to tele-photo and what
I like best is that this large zoom compared pretty close to my collection of Canon “L” lens covering the same distance. An excellent choice for a single walk around lens.
