Great lens, extremely sharp even wide open. The lens is in the condition as described and seems to be in nearly new condition. Very pleased.
After testing it with a LensCal the lens needed zero adjustment. Now comparing it against my
Pentax fa 35mm f/2.0 the sharpness of the Sigma is incredible, both lenses used at f/2.0.
CA’s seem to be well controlled but the weather has been not cooperating, partly cloudy with heavy
haze. The DOF at f/1.4 is, naturally, very shallow at close distances. Vignetting is very slight but that may vary with other DSLR’s. I was using it on a Pentax K1. Manual focusing is very good. The focus ring is tight making the ability to focus easy. The combination of this lens and the Pentax weighs in at 4# 1.85oz, a beast of a combination but the SR in the Pentax allows me to get sharp images down to 1/8 seconds and I’m 75 and a coffee drinker.
I’m also very happy with the quick, and free, delivery from this company.

A Greay Lens This is a great lens. It is sharp, light weight and balances well on my Pentax K-1.

Wonderful Lens Highly recommended for both FX and APS-C cameras. Absolutely tack-sharp, built like a brick, but moves like velvet feels.
