Sigma 135-400mm f/4.5-5.6 APO DG Aspherical

(3 customer reviews)

This camera glass has aspherical lens elements that enhance image quality by reducing spherical aberrations. It also has an APO (apochromatic) design that reduces chromatic aberrations, resulting in sharper images. The lens coating reduces ghosting and flare, giving you clearer photos. The build quality is good and it is a durable lens. The resolution is great and it produces sharp and detailed images. It is a good alternative to other ultra telephoto zoom lenses in the market. The focus is automatic and manual, giving you more control over your shots. The bokeh (background blur) is good and it produces smooth and creamy bokeh. The aperture range is f/4.5-5.6, which is suitable for good light conditions. It takes some time to manufacture this photographic lens, but the result is worth it.

Positives:
– This lens offers great value for the money. It’s significantly cheaper than similar lenses from Canon and Nikon.
– The image quality is quite good, especially when stopped down a bit.
– The autofocus is fast and accurate, which is important if you’re shooting action or wildlife.
– The build quality is decent, and the lens feels solid in your hand. It’s also weather-sealed, which is a nice bonus.
– At 400mm, this lens gives you a lot of reach for your money.

Negatives:
– This lens is a bit heavy, so you might get tired lugging it around all day.
– The maximum aperture isn’t as wide as some other lenses in this category, which may limit your ability to shoot in low light.
– The lens isn’t as sharp as some others, particularly at the 400mm end of the zoom range.
– The bokeh isn’t as smooth as some other lenses, so your out-of-focus areas may not look as attractive.

Conclusion:
Overall, the Sigma 135-400mm f/4.5-5.6 APO DG Aspherical lens is a good choice if you’re looking for a budget-friendly telephoto zoom lens. It’s not perfect, but it’s a solid performer that can get the job done. If you’re a serious wildlife or sports photographer, you might want to consider investing in a higher-end lens for better quality and performance. However, if you’re just starting out or looking to expand your lens collection without breaking the bank, this lens is definitely worth considering.

Sigma 135-400mm f/4.5-5.6 APO DG for Nikon I bought this item because I felt it covered a range my other lenses did not and the price seemed reasonably within my budget. The product is one of the better known manufacturers and recognized quality. It appeares exactly as advertisd and although I have not printed photographs of pictures taken using this item it appears to function properly,at least on the reviewing screen on my camera. This item would be one used primarily by experienced photographers or advanced novices who would make their own reviews and ratings.I am a satisfied customer in regard to this item,at least at this point in time.
