works better than my sony lens this lens although does not go as wide as my sony18-70[kit]lens, does have higher zoom power and works flawlessly and in my opinion, better than the kit lens that comes with the Alpha cameras, it focuses faster and never locks up or “freezes” the cameras sensors, its soon to be my main “goto” lens for all around picture taking, it also works with a 2xtelconverter which the sony would not, and with that I will have 200mm zoom, for closeups

Excellent value for SLR zoom lens. I purchased this lens to compliment a Minolta 70-210mm Beercan lens. It has been better than expected for such an inexpensive lens and better by far than the kit len I had with my Sony DSLR. I am using it with a Sony A65k and the color and sharpness have been good.

Nice versatile lens I like the ease of operation of this lens, the pictures are outstanding. Dislikes are in low light situations focus is jerky at best. All in all a very versatile lens.
