The optics of this lens produce a pleasing bokeh effect, which is the way the out-of-focus areas of a photo lens look. This photographic lens is manual focus only, which means the photographer must adjust the focus ring themselves. The resolution of this glass is good enough for most purposes, but not as sharp as some newer alternatives.
